Here's our 2009 event calendar. Our board has worked hard to plan these events. We hope to see you there!

May 16,  9:00 to 12:00 Big Thompson River Cleanup--If you fish the Big T, come out and help us with this important community event.  A free lunch of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs is offered following. Details... Lake Estes Marina
June 6,  9:00  to 12:00 Estes Park fishing Derby--Alpine Anglers operates a booth to educate derby participants on native fish recovery and to introduce people to fly fishing.  Come help or just come by! Lake Estes Marina
June 13, 9:00 to 12:00 Join Rocky Mountain Flycasters (Ft Collins TU chapter) for a morning cleaning up the lower Big Thompson. Meet at the Narrows Park (just west of the Narrows) at 9:00. Details... Narrows Park
June 17, 7:00 P.M. Summer kickoff chapter meeting. The program features nationally-known guide and outdoor writer Ed Engle. Plus, Chris Kennedy presents his summer fieldwork plans and volunteer needs.   Learn more... Mary's Lake Lodge (Grand Room)
July 16, 7:00 P.M. Chapter meeting. The program features Kirk Bien of  Kirk's Fly Shop and will help you find and catch the fish in Rocky Mountain National Park. Estes Park Library (Hondius Room)
August 20, 4:00 P.M. Alpine Anglers picnic.  Just fun--and the chance to hear where other Alpine Angler are catching them. We'll fire up the grill about 5:00, but come early to visit and fish! Sprague Lake (RMNP)
Sept 17, 7:00 P.M. Chapter meeting. The program will feature Estes Angler fly-fishing guide A.J. Dudek who will transport us to the rivers of Wisconsin and hook us up with some river smallmouth bass. Estes Park Library (Hondius Room)
Oct 15, 7:00 P.M. Chapter meeting. The program will feature Colorado Trout Unlimited president Ken Neubecker discussing the topic of trans-basin water diversions and the situation on the Upper Colorado River. Estes Park Library (Hondius Room)
