Learn-to-Fly-Fish day for kids 11 to 15. Participants will learn
the basics, get a change to fish and will receive a free fly
rod and reel set.

Noted fish historian Chris Kennedy of the US Fish
and Wildlife Service will talk about the history of fishing and
fish in the Estes Park area. What did those early settlers
really find in the streams when they arrived? He will also
present his 2011 field work plans for the greenback cutthroat
recovery program and tell you how you can help. |

Steve is the author of the newly released "A Fly-Fishing

Pacific Northwest. Bert lived, worked and fished the region for
much of his life, and he has written a fine book on fishing
Idaho's Kelly Creek. Come get the lowdown on this great fishing
